Juan Narvaez
Juan is a passionate musician and educator that wants to help spread love and appreciation for music throughout the world. They believe that music has a great capacity to heal and unite people; it is a form of communication with many dialects and meanings that we can all relate to one way or another. Juan has great love for all music and particularly a passion for Western art music, jazz, and folk and classical musical traditions from around the world. They compose, arrange, and perform as a soloist and collaborator. Juan has studied piano performance at the Alfred Cortot School in Paris, at Florida Atlantic University, and at Algoma University in Canada- the latter from which they graduated in 2016. They have studied with renowned pianists and teachers that include: Dr. Adam Aleksander, Sergei Sichkov, Andrei Gorog, Dr. Irena Kofman, and Dr. Anne Louise-Turgeon.
Juan has more than 15 years of experience teaching and performing music. They have experience playing classical solo piano music, chamber music, orchestral music, jazz, musical theater, Latin-American music, and popular music styles. Juan has had the opportunity to play in master classes for Alexander Beridze, Conrad Tao, Leslie Kinton, and James Anagnoson. They have also performed with the FAU Symphony Orchestra and the Algoma University Jazz Ensemble. Juan has collaborated with instrumentalists and singers, accompanied choirs, and worked as a church pianist and organist.

Jasmine Ugarte
Miss Jasmine has been teaching privately since 2014 and has worked with several music camps, companies and academies. She discovered her passion for teaching music to young children after she had the privilege of teaching piano at the Florida Atlantic University TOPS Piano Summer Camp. She is also currently working as the handwork assistant teacher at Cedarwood Waldorf School.
Miss Jasmine received her Bachelor of Music, majoring in Commercial Music Business, from Florida Atlantic University in August 2017. While there, her instrument of concentration was the piano, which she studied under the tutelage of Dr. Irena Kofman.
Miss Jasmine has experience working with students of all ages and abilities, from young children as young as three to seniors. Her main focus is in early childhood education as she has a great passion for working with children. She has also worked with neurodivergent students with autism, ADHD, and learning disabilities.
Miss Jasmine enjoys incorporating mindful activities such as drawing and coloring, music listening and rhythmic movement into her lessons. Waldorf education has inspired her piano teaching philosophy and pedagogy. Jasmine believes that through working creatively with our hands, be it music or handwork, we bring beauty into the world.
